Munster final will be cork versus waterford this year. in fairness when was the last time tipp beat the rebels in the pairc?? remember cork have some fine talent coming through, our u21s were very unlucky not to beat a highly talented galway team last year. we were missing our best player. paudi sull brother of diarmuid. wait until this monster is unleashed, just wait....
tipp have some final talent coming through on the back of good minor and u21 teams.
waterford are still a serious outfit. if thy only could find a full back they would be near on unbeatable. for all the great claims of justin's strengths as a coach in how many matches did declan predergast try to catch the sliotar around his own square? surely a good coach would have intructed him to bat everything around there ala donal o grady to diarmuid o sullivan.
limerick are definitely very capable from 1-9 but are seriously lacking in fire power.

Have no doubt about it chaps, Cork will be in the final. Would have way too much class for Tipperary, who will huff and puff but not be good enough on the day. Unfortunately we will have another untraditional Munster Final between Cork and one of the lower teams.

Munster is wide open this year any of the 5 county's have an equal chance of winning it - write Clare off ?? not at all - had a good work out last Sunday with the champions who destroyed limerick after 10 Min's in AI final. Clare are starting to come good now and the next 3 league games will tell a lot admit tingly they have to tighten up in defense and Griffin will be huge boost come june...cork will be dangerous after strike as they were in 03. Waterford will be given it their all after taken their eye of the ball last season, Tipp will be flying with minor success and good unity in camp again.

I would say that the only teams that Limerick have to fear in Munster are Clare, Cork, Tipp and Waterford. I think they should be able to beat Kerry.

If that ageing mullocking clare team manage to win the great Munster Championship, I think it will be time for the GAA to call it a day.
