Thanks Corca that is a fair answer, just to deal with Mickomac. It does not seem to matter what lies you post they will still make it to DBs like this one. The bould Micko made 4 points. 1. The players do not pick the Cork trainer,2 players Derek Kavanagh and Nicholas Murphy were 2 memnbers of a cttee that selected the new football manager. 2 THE presidence as he put it was brought about because the Executive of the Board rammed through a decision about selectors not being allowed to pick their own selectors against rule. 3. As far as the bandwagon supporters he speaks about are concerned it would be fair to say that most of the paltry few who were protesting would not have been at a match for years and the support they got reflected their standing but rest assured there will be plenty of Cork people at their games this year,3000 in Newtown last night. 4, Sean Og is referred to as a wook,I have no idea what that means but presume it is some sort of racial slur based on the word gook used by Americans. If so it says more about Micko than it does about Sean Og who incidentally said in the infamous interview that he thought it would be helpful if Frank stepped aside, something 99% of Cork GAA people have been saying for years. How playing again after that displays inconsistency is a leap of faith that could only be fuelled by sheer jealousy and hatred. 1. McCarthy term as trainer is up at the end of 2008 and unless the CBB try to push through changes, 2 hurlers will be on the selection panel. 2. The decision was voted on by club representatives twice. If this isn't democracy I don't know what is. Were most of them in the jacks during the vote or something ? 3. The guys that showed up for the Limerick game were real fans. I'm merly trying to show up the idiots who showed up on Patricks street who seemed to be supporting the players merely on blind faith. 4. The term wook was not meant as a racial slur. Just a word I use. After checking it up, I'd imagine it might have been used during Vietnam. Obviously this usage in this makes no sense and wasn't intended. You think that Sean Og was right in trying to pressure into getting a man fired. Its Frank's job. You think its a good thing to try to rid a man of his livelihood just to promote GPA views ?

Mickomac your post confirms exactly what you are and clarifies that people should not engage with you,you admit you used a word with racial undertones to describe someone who has been one of the best ambassadors the GAA have had over the past 6/7 years.
The democracy that you speak about has been well exposed as a sham at this stage but thankfully will not happen again.
3000 turn up in Newtown for a challenge game in February and 200 turn up for a protest and you talk about bandwagons. You are a contemptible little fellow.
THE GPA yawn,yawn,yawn

Have you never heard the word wook used to refer to a fool ?

MickoMc, you are racist scum. Jesus, I didn't use this word as a racial slur. I pointed out that I didn't know the meaning of this word when originally using it. I completely apologise if I've caused anyone offence. In fact, I can't find anything on the net saying it is even a racial slur. I'm simply linking it to Vietnam as it seems to be a popular Vietnamese surname. Believe me, the last thing I am is racist. I was simply pointing out about Sean Og trying to get Frank Murphy fired.

Right Mickomac I will accept your word that you were not being racist. However it hardly needs me to point out that if you are throwing insults around that you should stick to words that you know have some meaning rather than using words and then being forced to say that I do not know what it means.
Puts the rest of the post into perspective though.

Micko you were offered a way out and you keep digging.Leave it you made a prat of yourself most of us have done so from time to time when our cop on is blinded by a prejudice of some sort.
We now know that you fill up your posts with words that you have coined yourself and actually do not mean anything.
People should treat such posts with a Govt health warning.
