Incredible game. There won't be a better one this year. As I type, the final whistle has gome after the end of extra-extra time and WIT have won it by 5. An amazing game of hurling. Fair play to both teams, shame there has to be a loser

I thought the referee took from the fluency of the game awarding too many soft frees...some good hurlers on show...I think its one of the best competitions around...

Brilliant game, reasonably quiet first half but the rest was fantastic stuff. LIT will be desperately disappointed to have lost it after leading pretty much all the way.
Canning is unreal from frees/sidelines.
Felt really sorry for Blaine Earley, 2 great chances to win it, first one a great save, and Power was out quickly to crowd him for the second. One positive point from his point of view, he was getting into great positions. Keep the head up, there will be better days ahead.

How many Waterford players were on the WIT team Well Adrian Power, Kevin Moran and Shane O'Sullivan are blaas as far as I know. Moran was very impressive from wing back, got a couple of lovely points as well.

I presume Fives & Hartley are from WD as well. Conor Cooney is from Clare I think, looked useful enough.

Brilliant game. Can't wait to see Canning in the next few years playing senior intercounty and see what he can do. Some player.

Canning is some talent alright, will need to lose some of that weight he has to step up to senior intercounty, spoke to a few of the LIT lads who say he loves his junk food!!!

Canning carrying around some timber alright, and I'm not talking about his hurl. Ref was poor IMO. Gave some strange decisions at times. Great prospects for all counties on show.
Great game of hurling
