I would agree with captain glenfinn selection in the grand annual. looks a plot horse if ever there was on. much similar to fota island a couple of years back. remember this boy was a leading fancy for the arkle before his setback and has being the recipient of some tender rides this year.
in the william hill im very keen on boychuk, who beat gungadu as a novice. has a great record at prestbury and is much better horse going lefthanded so last couple of runs righthanded dont read so bad.
in the coral cup would be very hard to oppose psycho. a lot of people fancy ringaroses but there must be a fair chance he'll bounce, stable have been having a quite time of it lately too.
in the county, i was sweet on barkers chance but they must be keeping him for fairyhouse. this is a real tough race to weight up.
in the racing post plate dont push it is banker material bar a fall. i would have fancied maljimar but surprising connections are going to newbury this weeken instead
in the jewson mr stractan is a fair shout as long as hes jumping holds up. has some quite decent lines of form

I think Fair Along could be decent each way value in the Champion Chase. Great jumper and will set a strong pace which could find the holes in a few of the others. Looked right back to form over too long a trip against Kauto Star at Ascot.

I think Oscar Park represents value in the rsa. Unfashionable trainer but has course form and Did it very well last two outings. 16 with ladbrooks, and Rsa stated target.

I've had a look at Glenfinn's races on atr. Maybe of interest alright. Trainer's form not great this year.

Paddy, are you confident Psycho will go for the Coral and not the County Hurdle? I would prefer Leg Spinner for the Coral and Psycho for County. Suppose it's all a case with no run no bet...

I know that Harvey can pretty much do anything but I think Pscycho has been hammered for his two recent races. I am very keen on Jered in the County. He travels brilliantly and jumps very well. His mark of 137 is very fair when you look at the weights that have been given to some Irish horses, specially the moderate ones in the Fred Winter. Wanango could also be interesting in this race if he went here instead of the Grand Annual. He has been crucified for the Grand Annual.
Bon Accord has been cut by most firms and is now 14s tops.
Blue Sq went 25s Mr Strachan yesterday which was too good to be true nr/nb. That is gone but the 20s that is still about looks like double the price he could be on the day.

Looking at the top jockey market, Davy Russell looks a decent bet at big odds and I have taken the 49s with Ladbrokes.
He will be on Zaarito, Mossbank, River Liane and Forpadytheplasterer. He is also is likely to be on some of the Tony Martin horses in handicaps and would be on Thyne Again if he runs in the Arkle.

How can Monkerhostin go for the Kim Muir? I did not think he was entered and it is a 0-140 rated race, so he would not be allowed into it unless he carried 12-10 or something like that.
I have no bet on River Liane but did have a few quid on Free World with Betfred last week as he was standout on prices.

Cheltenham is Monkerhostin’s next destination before Aintree, and Hobbs said: “He will run in the Kim Muir, but he is an obvious candidate for Aintree and the right age. He’s our main one. from post 6th feb looked at the entries and he is not there, think he'll skip chelt and head to aintree. u think freeworld will go for bonus by running in imperial cup?

Hobbs is a muppet and did not realise that Monkerhostin was not qualified to run in the race when he made that statement as far as I can see.
I have not looked at the entries for Saturday, but I hope he doesn't go for the bonus. He can do without getting penalties if he is to take on Cooper's horse. He could however be very good and it may not matter.

Not been a great NH season so far with a lot of good horses injured and a few that are no longer with us. Not paid too much interest to the ante-post markets so far and with a week to go now is the time to consider some value e/w

WEDNESDAY R&SA Chase: Silverburn 8/1 Champion Chase: Voy Por Ustedes 7/2
