For sure. He's got a good relationship with the players and still has the Loughnane work ethic to get them all fit and tough. Only man for the job at the moment.

Absolutely- It didn’t work in Offaly because he was an outsider. Our lads look up to him, they didn’t. I heard training is going right well anyway and we’ll know more after the next 3 games, which btw I think we are well capable of winning.

I heard training is going right well anyway and we’ll know more after the next 3 games, which btw I think we are well capable of winning. on the other hand the last time offaly were competitive in the leinster championship was under mike mac. fitzhenrys goalkeeping in the first half was all that stood between them and the leinster title. padraig horans comments about being set back twenty years are currently almost five years old now yet offaly haven`t improved one scrap since then and they are only in division one because dublin hadn`t the courtesy to go down in their place thus requiring a rejigging of the league

mac will get a team physically ready to a very high standard but i do hold a reserve over his ability to mentally prepare a team. hopefully he prove he can this year.
