For atmosphere, ability to get liquor close to the ground and not far to walk with the train station a few hundred yards away Thurles must be the best.
Cork is brilliant when you're inside the ground but getting to the ground is a pain in the Christy and the pubs beside the ground are always mobbed.

Thurles the best, park a mile from the ground, have a few pints, ramble down town if you wish, scramble like a nutter back to the car to get out early, home in an Hour, stop off in Ryans in Newport for the post match pints.
Worst, Ennis..Horrible ground, traffic a nightmare.

The walk out there though is the Killer, It is a fine view from the open stand, But if only you could get the guys to run the boat across the river again, you would be there in five minutes.

Great view ok but the new seats are terrible, no comfort at all. You'd want to be a dwarf to have any legroom, knees were fair stiff last time I got up from there after final whistle.

In Munster I've always liked Killarney and Thurles. The Gaelic Grounds isn't bad either, but now that the Davin is going to be closed, it'll make for a hard pint to get.
Tralee is a bit soulless I think, Pairc Ui Chaoimh is a long walk. I don't mind Ennis, but you have to not be in a hurry to get away. I like Ennis for a pint. Clonmel isn't too bad either. Itself and Ennis are like County grounds 20 years ago.
Don't know much about attending a game in Walsh Park or Fraher Field.
In Leinster, Tullamore is a good walk out from the town as well, but the new stand is nice, and I love the green bank. Unfortunately, while that bank is there it'll never be taken seriously. Mullingar is nice and handy, and they've done a good job on it as well. Portlaoise is a pain to get to, but a fine ground when you are in it.
There's actually a few nice little grounds in Leinster. Carlow, Wexford, Nowlan Park, Navan, Parnell Park are all grand as well.
Best match day venue, of all the ones I've attended would probably be Killarney though,

Cork. It has to be Cork. Some call it the fillet of Munster stadiums.

Cork is a nightmare, the walk down to it. Fitzgearald Stadium is a great place for the atmoshphere especially on Munster Final day. Gaelic grounds is good but if the Davin Inn closes down there it'll take some of the pre and post match craic away, Thurles is good also but I must say nothing compares to Croke Park, when I walk up the steps into Hill16 and hear the roar it send shivers through me.

Thurles is the best. Also the best hurling pitch. Also like Portlaoise and of course, HQ
Dunno what Tullamore is like now, but it used to be a friggin nightmare. The venue itself and the getting to and from it. Walsh Park aint great either.
